Norman Hoppe
Norman Hoppé is BRG's Director Information and Operational Assurance as well as the key contact for the Spanish Office in Madrid. Norman is a specialist in the provision of practical, functional governance. He has assessed corporate and government department risk, planned remedial external and internal control structures, methods and systems, developed them and managed their implementation at strategic, functional and operational levels. Mr. Hoppé has also provided outsourced directorship and management of applied solutions. In addition, he is a highly experienced director of information systems risk mitigation projects. He has also developed methodologies and models to enable organisations to provide homogenous internal process and information technology audit, business continuity assurance, quality assurance, health and safety risk management, insured risk optimisation, proactive and reactive investigation and all forms of security.
Mr. Hoppé has also delivered presentations at a large number of conferences and seminars, has written numerous articles and appeared as an ‘expert’ on radio and television programs. He recently advised the BBC World Service and a government advisor in the USA about the issues and various impacts of the terrorist attacks in Madrid. He is currently adapting his recently completed textbook on information-led corporate governance for electronic publishing.
